Vaughn is a senior security consultant and researcher, with an emphasis on red teaming and exploit development. With over 20 years of experience in enterprise cybersecurity as a front-line technical resource and senior manager, Vaughn has deep experience in penetration testing, detection and response, development and implementation of security policies, risk assessment, wireless security, application development, and more. In addition to a BS in Economics from Frostburg State University, Vaughn has earned an extensive list of leadership and technical credentials including GIAC Exploit Research and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Offensive Security Experienced Professional (OSEP), Offsec Web Assessor (OSWA), Offsec Wireless Professional (OSWP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Pentester Academy Certified Enterprise Security Specialist (PACES), Certified Red Teaming Expert (CRTE), Six Sigma Green Belt, and Executive Management Training from the University of Maryland’s Robert Smith School of Business.
Fun Fact: Vaughn frequently pushes his physical limits and has completed a grueling 281.2-mile combined swim, bike, and run.
